Art Print: PLAY GOOSE
Every year I choose a word or intention to guide me, and in 2025 it was PLAY! To celebrate a year of curiosity and joy and leaning into being goofy as a craft choice, I very playfully carved this silly goose. I think of it as a kind of spell or good luck charm to invite more play into our lives—whether that’s through our art or our motherhood or our daily rituals. Put one up in your bathroom and embrace a spirit of play even as you brush your teeth!
I’m selling these in particular as a fundraiser for my MFA tuition. Getting my MFA is a boss level of play that I love love love. It is also very expensive. Please pay-what-you-can for this print, and know that your purchase helps support my creative writing development!
PLAY GOOSE
Hand-carved linocut
Hand-pressed on watercolor paper
Approx 6”×8.5” (each print varies slightly)
Signed and dated
Note: The spirit of this printmaking was super loose and letting go of perfection as a practice, so each of these prints will be slightly different and imperfect. Thank you in advance for supporting me with being okay with that lol
