I named my handmade art books BOOKLINGS, like ducklings or darlings or other sweet things you want to hold. Each bookling features one story poem and is printed and made by hand in my studio.
ABOUT THIS BOOKLING
HOLLY is my seventh bookling in this series. IT is a little story about a very big bear, one of the most legendary mom of Katmai National Park. In 2014, she adopted an abandoned and unrelated cub (503). But what preceded this moment, what moved the two of them towards each other? This bookling explores both their extraordinary kinship and the wilderness of grief. An early iteration of this story was originally published in the ADN (2022) as part of my fat bear week coverage.
Holly would be over 100 in human years now, and she has not been seen for a couple years. It is likely that she is walking in the forever forest. It is an honor to remember and celebrate her this way.

PRICING
Sliding scale: $65-90.
**Offering a sliding scale allows me to make my work available to people of diverse circumstances, as those with more resources help to subsidize my ability to offer work to those who have less. Working from a relationship model instead of simply a transactional one has worked best for me; I trust folks to choose a fair amount within the scale. Thank you for being honest with your budget to honor my time and skills!**
Artist Proofs are also available for $150 (these are the rare first proofs, outside of the numbered edition. Signed and labeled accordingly.)
